Since becoming a Life Coach people often ask me what it is I "do" exactly. While the word Life Coach may be very well known, there still seems to be a large number of people struggling to understand what the process involves and what the benefits are.
If you have found yourself wondering the same thing, let me break it down for you:
A Life Coach is a personal trainer for your life.
Someone who is there to help take you from where you are, to where you long to be.
Too often in life we continue to put up with jobs that aren't fulfilling, relationships that aren't supportive and financial situations that are less than what we need to thrive. But, rather than take action to change our situation we do nothing.
Why do we do nothing?
Because we lack the confidence, support or resources necessary to do so and, from a manifestation point of view, we struggle to hold ourselves in vibrational alignment with our desires. This is where coaching comes in and why it can be so transformational.

Here are 10 Reasons to see a Life Coach Today:
1. Step into your full potential
When trying to make big life changes it’s easy to fall victim to ego-based thoughts such as “I’m not good enough” or “I can’t do it”. Working with a Life Coach means you will always be held accountable to your higher-self making it easier for you to reach your full potential and make the changes you desire.
2. Move from confusion to clarity
Whether you feel confused about your career, relationships or soul's purpose, there's no better way to gain clarity than through taking action. Taking action enables you to step out of analysis paralysis and into forward motion which is exactly what a Life Coach will lovingly support you to do.
3. Step through fear
One of the main reasons a person will come to see a Life Coach (whether they are aware of it or not), is to step through some kind of fear. When you are growing and changing you are naturally going to experience fear and resistance. A Life Coach can help you to recognise and release those fears so you experience growth more effortlessly.
4. Overcome self-doubt
As a Life and Manifestation Coach the cornerstone of my work is to help my clients believe at a deep soul level that they are worthy of their desires. Because, from a law of attraction standpoint, the universe ain't gonna deliver, what you don't think you deserve to have.
5. Love and appreciate your life now
The easiest way to fulfill your goals and manifest all the things you want in life is to appreciate what you do have now. So many people know and understand this, and yet they don't take the time to actually do it. Working with a coach will see that you are held accountable to such practices.
6. Set soul-inspiring goals
At the Beautiful You Life Coaching Academy, we are taught that the success of a coaching series can be determined by the strength of the goal! A Life Coach can help you set a goal that's positive, feeling based and lights you up in a million ways. For example: “Be the sexiest and most confident I've ever been” as opposed to “Lose 5kg by Christmas”. It's easy to see which one will be more motivating!
7. Start creating a life you love - NOW
When I worked with my first coach I kept delaying our start date because I felt I didn't really need the help and would be fine on my own. After our very first session I remember thinking “Why did I wait so long? This person is helping me achieve my dreams and I don't have to struggle to try and do it all on my own!” Don’t get caught in the trap of thinking you don't need the help. If you have gone this long with your struggles isn't it likely it will continue if you don't do anything about it? Take action NOW.
8. Overcome self-sabotage
Self-sabotage comes in many forms, whether it's procrastination, negative self-talk, or drinking too much on the weekends. Working with a Life Coach will help you to recognise and understand your behaviour so that you can learn new ways of being that will result in long-lasting, positive change.
9. Gain confidence
There is no greater confidence boost than setting a massive goal that stretches and challenges you and then achieving that goal. Since I embarked on my journey to becoming a coach I have continually put myself “out there”, regardless of the fear I was experiencing. The payoff is that I have grown in more ways than I could have imagined and I am the happiest I’ve ever been.
10. Nine reasons are enough
If your interest in seeing a Life Coach has kept you reading up to this point, perhaps you don't need another reason? Maybe its time for you to take the next step.
