And the truth is, they’re actually really important topics (and ones that I’ve been meaning to write about for quite some time) because there’s a way to ask for signs when you’re manifesting that can HELP you, and there’s also a way it can HINDER you.

Asking The Universe For A Sign & Seeing Repeating Numbers 111,222,444
HOW to ask for a sign WHEN MANIFESTING
So first of all, I want to start by clarifying that there’s a BIG difference between:
👉🏼Asking the universe to show you a SPECIFIC sign that what you want is manifesting, (for example seeing a repeating number, your spirit animal or a blue butterfly 🦋).
&
👉🏼SEEING a sign when you’re manifesting.
And I'll explain why…
When you ask the universe to show you a SPECIFIC sign that what you want is manifesting, you aren’t always setting yourself up for success in your practice, and here’s why…
We will always look for evidence that supports what we believe, or what we want to believe.
So if you want to manifest your soulmate, and you ask the universe to show you a sign of blue butterflies that he’s on his way, MOST of the time you will be looking out for blue butterflies and therefore be MORE likely to see them, and because of this you will be manifesting with blinders on because you won’t be OPEN to the information you need.
And there’s actually a scientific explanation for why this happens...
It’s called The Reticular Activating System, and it’s the part of our brains responsible for filtering out unnecessary information.
And The Reticular Activating System DECIDES on what information to show you based on what you are focusing on and your beliefs.
For example: if you’re interested in purchasing a certain type of car all of a sudden you will start seeing that car everywhere!
That’s the RAS in action ⚡️
For this reason, if you are asking the universe to show you a SPECIFIC sign, like your Owl spirit animal you are MORE likely to see it.
This is why, whenever I am coaching one of my clients or students around increasing their manifesting abilities, I always recommend staying OPEN and AWARE to the signs that are showing up around you ✨
And if you need to ask the universe for a sign, just ask for a sign, don’t dictate exactly what it needs to be!
This way you aren’t subconsciously looking for what you want to ‘SEE’ 👀 rather you are OPEN to the true divine guidance of the universe.
And this is often when you will find you receive the most incredibly POWERFUL signs that relate specifically to your desires.
For example: You may be asking the universe for a sign that your new home is manifesting and then later that day a removalist truck will pull up into your driveway 🚚
What’s the significance of seeing repeating numbers like 111,222,444
There are lots of articles out there that talk about different meanings of specific numbers (or angel numbers as they are also referred to) and although certain numbers hold different vibrations, whenever someone asks me about their meaning, or WHY they are showing up for them, I always recommend they TUNE-IN to what is going on in their life experience.
10 times out of 10, when repeating numbers show up, they come at a time when someone is making some important life decision/s or changes, or even going through a spiritual awakening.
These numbers are being shown to you as a form of CONFIRMATION that you are on the right path, and to KEEP going!
I will often see repeating numbers like 111 when I am launching something new in my business or thinking about taking a new direction, and I know when I see these numbers it’s a green light 🚦from the universe!

Other ways to use signs when manifesting
Similarly to the point I made earlier about letting the universe SHOW YOU signs as opposed to you LOOKING out for certain things, another approach that you can take is to create a bit of a ‘secret language’ between you and your spirit guides 🤫
And what I mean by that is, you choose a specific sign or symbol and then assign a meaning to it, which you declare openly to your guides.
The reason why this can be really POWERFUL when you’re manifesting is because, one of the ways your spirit guides communicate with you is through signs and symbols, but often WE don’t understand what these signs mean.
So by creating a ‘secret language’ between you and your guides you are actually STRENGTHENING your communication with them.
An example of this from my own personal life is the sign of white feathers 🪶
Whenever I see a white feather I know it's my spirit guides, letting me know they are there and I’m on the right path.
Once I declared this intention to my guides, and assigned this meaning for white feathers, I would experience the most profound encounters with white feathers…
For example: I would be thinking about launching a new coaching program, go for a walk and then a white feather would literally fall out of the sky right in front of me 🪶
I have found this to be a beautiful way to open up CLEAR communication with your guides rather than trying to guess what specific signs mean.
Another sign I see, which shows up profoundly for me, is the letters KA (my mother’s initials who passed away 15 years ago).
Whenever I see KA I know it's my mother letting me know she is there, and giving me her support.
Here’s an example from my first photoshoot when I became a coach. I remember that was such an important day for me, and as we were shooting in the bamboo - my hand happened to be resting precisely on the initials KA which we got to capture 📸
Getting the most of out using your own signs when you’re manifesting
To increase your chances of interpreting signs the CORRECT way when you’re manifesting (and open up CLEAR communication with your guides) I recommend creating a powerful vision board that depicts everything you want to call-in into your life and then adding signs to it!
For example: adding a white feather or angel numbers to your board next to something you want to manifest, like a baby, then you will know that is your sign for that particular manifestation.
So if you start seeing white feathers you will know that they are POINTING you in the right direction for manifesting a child.
It’s also important to make sure you create your vision board in the correct way to get results, which can can learn how to do in my free vision board training.
In closing…
If you want to increase your manifesting abilities, rather than asking for SPECIFIC signs, instead stay OPEN to the signs the universe/your guides are showing you!
And if you really want to up your game, start opening up the ability to communicate more clearly with your spirit guides by assigning different meanings to different signs or symbols.
Because at the end of the day, your guides and angels are always trying to communicate with you and it's a whole lot EASIER when you’re BOTH speaking the same language!
